Declaration for economic crimes: general beginnings and features of application

The general principles and features of the use of detention of persons suspected, accused of committing crimes in the field of entrepreneurial and other economic activities are considered; the subject composition of persons who have committed crimes of this category is investigated; it is proposed to develop a unified approach to the terminology used in Part 1.1 of Art. 108 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation; the legal position of the highest judicial bodies on the issue of the election of the detention of persons prosecuted for crimes in the sphere of economic activity is presented; analyzes the judicial practice of choosing custody as a preventive measure in relation to the named persons.
