The law on trade unions in the Republic of Moldova: the rate of efficiency

The article analyses application of the Law on Trade Unions in the Republic of Moldova using the results of a sociological survey conducted in 2010-2011 by the Institute of Labour at the National Confederation of Trade Unions. The authors claim that to raise the efficiency of the law, it is necessary to form a tribunal on labour conflicts and a centre for registration of the trade unions’ rights violation, to invigorate the work of trade unions and their leaders in the struggle for entering the international labour norms into the national legislation.
