Legislative regulation of the health care reform in the USA

The article deals with the decisive stage in reformation of the USA health care system – enacting the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act signed into law by President Obama in March 2011. The law has to expand health insurance coverage practically to the whole population of the USA, raise health care efficiency and lower health care costs. The article highlights main law provisions, first measures for its implementation, as well as the attitude of the Americans to it.
