The legislative process of Vietnam in the period 1945-1996

Law making is one of the most important activities in national governance. Since 1945, when the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was born with the appearance of the Law on promulgation of the 1st legal normative documents in 1996, the law-making process of Vietnam was initially formed and there were significant changes. The article analyzes the history of formation and development of the legislative process of Vietnam through the Constitution and legal documents in the period 1945-1996 in order to make comments and assessments on the legal process of Vietnam law in this period.
