Legislation of shared construction: past, present and future

The article examines some historical aspects of the appearance in the legal field of Russia of legislation on shared construction, analyzes its changes, in particular, new measures aimed at protecting the rights of equity holders. The author believes that the most effective measure will be a compensation fund formed at the expense of developers’ contributions, and suggests the establishment of a special mortgage rate of the Bank of Russia as an economic measure to support housing construction.
