Regularities of development of desertification in the Southern Aral region

The drying zone of the Aral Sea is a classic natural laboratory for the study of desertification processes, where they develop without any human intervention over a vast territory. Geosystems and natural processes of the dried seabed are very dynamic, unstable and change intensively over a short period of time. All these changes, to a certain extent, have corresponding development trends, observed either from the side of the native coast of the sea in the direction of the water's edge, or vice versa.
