Regularities of influence of energy efficiency improvement tools at competitiveness of economic entities

The article discusses the impact on the competitiveness of economic entities of various tools and techniques to improve energy efficiency. The complex nature of the phenomenon of entities' competitiveness as part of a multi-level economic system requires consideration of the effects that appear at every level. The analysis of these effects in the implementation of energy efficiency tools in the production of the product allows to determine its complex nature. It includes not only a direct impact on the level of costs, but also the factors affecting the level of technological readiness of the economy, the quality of life of society. Final conclusions set out in the article reflect the position that energy efficiency is able to act in response to the current global challenges of the domestic economy, a complex influence on the pace of socio-economic development of society, contribute to the long-term maintenance of the necessary level of competitiveness of the national economy.
