Delay of vascular growth is the reason of varus deformation of the femur

The analysis of the experimental study, allowing to reveal one of the important reasons of inadequate development of a growth plate and formation of the femoral neck, is given in the work. This is connected with intersection of the vessels, supplying the proximal end of the femoral bone of animals in their early period. Temporary growth inhibition of the vessels and their subsequent slow progress does not provide active supplying of the growth plate growth. That is why differentiation of chondrocytes is inhibited and respectively so timely formation of bone tissue in the zone of the femoral neck, thereby leading to varus deformity development.
