The purpose of the article is to analyze the teaching methodology of extracurricular speed reading lessons in psychological and pedagogical work with junior primary school children with the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder with the attention deficit, hyperactivity and impulsivity is a socially significant problem, because it is often found among children and it is the factor of the associated mental disorders in the cognitive, emotional-volitional and behavioural spheres, which lead to behaviour disorders, school maladaptation, early alcohol drinking, etc. The optimal period for corrective actions is the junior primary school age. The article presents the methodology of extracurricular speed-reading lessons, based on the methodological recommendations of Sh. T. Akhmadullin, S. G. Zotov and others, can be used in correctional and development work for the junior primary school children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder...
