This article deals with the facts which allow to consider tourism in the system of extracurricular education as one of means of influence of physical education on the formation of personality with a socially active life position; the data of effectiveness of extracurricular education experimental programs are provided, which use means of physical culture and tourism for the development of viability and socially active life position.
