Employment and wage levels: some aspects of the problem

The article is devoted to the analysis of the processes of organizing wages in the Russian economy. The factors determining the level of real wages are considered. The need to increase the level of wages in the country is determined, especially with regard to wages of employees of budgetary organizations, since its low level contributes to the outflow of highly professional workers from the budgetary sectors and the concentration of low-productivity workers here. The article notes that in terms of labor productivity, which is one of the most important conditions for ensuring the growth of wages, Russia lags far behind many states, and therefore the country has an acute problem in the adoption and implementation of urgent measures to increase labor productivity in the economy.
