Postmodern western civilization: symptoms of decline and scenarios of the future

The article analyzes the "spiritual surrender" of Western civilization in the postmodern era, associated with the erosion of the "cultural code" and the deformation of the classical image of a person. The author characterizes the symptoms of the exhaustion of the "Promethean spirit" of the West, explores the historical roots of the regression of European humanism. The deformation of the metaphysical matrices of culture and the global anthropological crisis translates European culture into a “bifurcation point” that introduces uncertainty into the images and scenarios of the future. The deep metaphysical reasons underlying the systemic crisis minimize the chances of a "conservative recovery" of Western civilization. An alternative to the neoliberal concept of the world order can be the "Eurasian project", which rejects the dictatorship of the world financial "capital" and the market-capitalist economic system, recognizing ethnocultural and civilizational diversity as a great value and the most important condition for the co-evolutionary development of peoples and states.
