Infection with whitefly (Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) (Homoptera: Aleyrodidae)) cotton

A study was conducted on the spread of the whitefly Bemisia tabaci gennadius on cotton plants. The work was carried out during 2020-2022. The entomological part of the study included the study of the phenological development of the whitefly in accordance, the study of the colonization and harmfulness of the whitefly. The yield of raw cotton, promising hybrid combinations, lines and varieties of cotton were also studied. Information about the conducted experiments has been carried out. The identified stable lines, hybrids, and varieties can be used to create new varieties of cotton.
