Charging infrastructure of electric transport: forecast assessment of the development dynamics of electric vehicle fleet in the Russian Federation

The article provides an overview of the automotive markets of the Russian Federation and a number of foreign countries. The dynamics of sales of electric vehicles and their share in the overall structure of sold equipment have been established. An analysis of the factors influencing the process of electrification of the Russian vehicle fleet was carried out. A forecast assessment of the dynamics of saturation of the population of the Russian Federation with electric vehicles has been carried out, allowing us to develop a strategy for the development of charging infrastructure and plan the phased commissioning of its facilities in accordance with the number of vehicles with electric drive in a specific locality of the country.
