Foreign studies of the relationship of socioeconomic status and juvenile delinquency

The paper presents a survey of foreign researchers’ assessment of impact of the social origin of a juvenile wrongdoer on his/her delinquent behavior patterns. While admitting that delinquency is more typical of representatives of the poor strata of society, the study revealed reasons and specifics of juvenile delinquent behavior proper for middle class’ wrongdoers.
