International missions of Bundeswehr: periodization issue

The main goal of this article is to develop the most appropriate periodization of the Bundeswehr’s international missions from 1990 to 2014. The author proposes to apply a complex criterion based on the dynamics of Germany participation in the international military operations. The application of this criterion allows the author to distinguish three periods of Bundeswehr’s international missions - initial stage, stage of expansion, stabilization stage.
