Foreign experience of underwater timber harvesting

The article presents some examples of the experience of foreign countries in the implementation of underwater logging. Currently, underwater harvesting is at an early stage of development around the world, and revenue indicators in this area are insignificant. However, in the future, underwater timber harvesting will become a very promising direction in the logging industry, which has a great potential due to the high cost of wood located at the bottom of artificial reservoirs. According to experts, about 300 million trees in the world today are under water, the approximate cost of which is about 50 billion US dollars.
