Crime prevention abroad in XXI century

Introduction: the article is devoted to topical issues of crime prevention in foreign countries. Special attention is paid to new types of criminal activity on the Internet. Measures to minimize illegal (socially dangerous) actions are proposed. Materials and Methods: in preparing the study, foreign and domestic works on criminology, sociology, psychology, deviantology, criminal law, devoted to the prevention of new forms of crime were used. In the course of work on the article, general scientific methods of cognition were used, as well as special methods: logical, comparative-legal, system-structural, statistical, as well as content analysis of Russian and foreign sources, which allowed us to analyze and summarize the materials collected by the authors, formulate the necessary proposals and conclusions on the research topic. Results: the article analyzes the practice of crime prevention in foreign countries and offers recommendations aimed at minimizing criminal acts. Discussion and Conclusions: the article presents a set of preventive and corrective measures aimed at reorienting anti-social attitudes (illegal actions) in the direction of sports, creative, scientific, entrepreneurial and other socially useful activities.
