The paper concludes that China, the Republic of Korea and Japan ensure the comprehensive development of fisheries and fish farming including measures aimed at modernizing the fishing fl eet and reducing sea pollution, increasing aquaculture stability and switching to it from fishing, promoting national fish and water products to domestic and foreign markets, and preserving jobs in coastal villages and towns. We confi rm that the policy cornerstone of the Northeast Asian states is to support aquaculture production. It is also important to study and implement foreign experience in accounting for fish products. This step will stimulate the improvement of product quality and help promote it to foreign markets. The next support area for fisheries is modernization of the logistics infrastructure of fishing ports which can also be used in the Russian Far East.
