The paper discusses the issue of designing a fiber-optic communication line using GPON technology (Gigabit Passive Optical Network). The study used the latest technology and software and hardware solutions to achieve maximum transmission speed and security of fiber-optic communication lines. A block diagram is proposed that implements data transfer based on GPON technology, which involves the use of modern cryptography and reflectometry devices. The use of GPON technology allows data transfer at high speeds, and since modern developments in the field of fiber optic protection are used, it is possible to be confident in the confidentiality of information.
