Protection of children's rights in the European court of human rights' practice

Purpose: To investigate application of provisions of the Convention on protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms to children. Methodology: Formal legal and comparative legal methods were used. Results: In article precedents of the European Court of Human Rights on consideration of the questions which are directly connected with protection of the rights of children are analyzed influence of activity of the European Court of Justice on the national legislation and jurisprudence of the countries is studied (including Russia) concerning protection of the rights of children, problems which children at protection of the rights can face are analyzed. Novelty/originality/value: The novelty of article consists that in her are analyzed important for modern jurisprudence and practice of a problem of application of the Convention on protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms in practice of the European Court of Human Rights.
