The article analyzes the constitutional and legal aspects of the withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights. In this context, the issue of the legal force of the European Convention on the territory of the Russian Federation and the fate of the legal positions of the European Court of Human Rights is considered. A broad approach to the issue of preserving their number of sources of constitutional law is substantiated. The article also examines other international legal (interstate) mechanisms for the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens of the Russian Federation in the sense of part 3 of Article 46 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
