Protection of intellectual property rights in the internet environment

The purpose of the author's research is to consider issues related to the protection of intellectual property rights in the Internet environment. For this, the following tasks were set and solved: to characterize the main types of violations of intellectual property rights in the modern Internet environment; analyze specific countermeasures of violations; determine the best ways to protect intellectual property rights on the Internet. During the study, system analysis, the method of induction, comparative analysis, structural and functional analysis were used. It has been established that in 2022 the Russian legislation in the field of intellectual property has undergone significant changes. Following the legislative framework, law enforcement practice is also changing. The judiciary reacts faster to the situation, although some decisions introduce lawyers into a zone of turbulence. With the advent of more and more digital platforms, the problems ofprotecting property rights in the virtual world have also become more acute. But, despite the geopolitical situation, positive changes are still observed in the judicial system.
