The author analyzes the concept and legal nature of the claim for establishing the boundaries of the land plot. It distinguishes the types of claims on the establishment of borders, their legal and factual background, the features of procedural implementation. He considers the possible impact of legislative novels on the enforcement of such claims, reveals the problems of legal regulation in this area and suggests ways of solving these problems.
