Dependence of the level of energy intensity of GRP from the economy of Russian regions

The article carries out comparative analysis of the Russian Federation constituent entities according to the criterion of dependence of the energy intensity of GRP from the level of regional economy development. The analysis is carried out by means of the rating assessment of Russian regions in the context of the main types of economic activity. The author has found the direct interrelation between the efficiency of energy consumption of the territory (irrespective of its size) with the level of economy development in the region.
