Seven varieties of rapeseed breeding of the Scientific Research Institute of Rape (Lipetsk), two varieties of the All-Russian Fodder Research Institute (Moscow) and nine hybrids of German company Rapool-Rus were studied in 2012-2017. The aim of the research was to identify the most productive and adaptive varieties and hybrids of spring rapeseed which grow on seeds in the forest - steppe of the Tula region. The varieties were established to show their adaptability in the same conditions differently. It is revealed that the yield was very different for a number of years for all varieties and hybrids, that is, we can say that these varieties do not coincide in their ecological and geographical characteristics as well as breeding and genetics, that is, their different attitude to the environment was noted. The year 2015 was the most favorable for the cultivation in the region during the years of the test, where the average productivity was xj=2.70, while the index of the environmental conditions (Ij) was determined on the level of 0.48. Lipetsk varieties Ermak (bi=2.13), Bulat (bi=2.60) and German hybrid Mischievously (bi=2.03) were the largest response in terms of year of the line. Hybrid Trapper was the most unstable (Si2=0.88) one. Hybrids Akhat and Mobile were the most plastic and stable, their average productivity was 2.33 t/ha. Variety Avangard (-0.49) and hybrid Akhat (-0.36) were the most resistible to stress. Maximum homeostaticity was marked for hybrid Akhat (117.42) and the variety Avangard (48.23), minimum was for hybrid Trapper.
