Sedin factory and its role in Kuban economy in 20-30's of the XX century

There is considered the most important period of formation of one of the most famous Kuban enterprises - Sedin factory. The role and the place of the factory in the regional industry in the 20's and 30's of the XX century are examined, how production orientation was changed - from the repair work factory to the casting and mechanical factory, and then to the machinebuilding one. The article shows the problems that the workers of the enterprise solved and the significance of Sedin factory for the economic development of the country at this time.
