Health and economy of the region

The paper considers health care as one of the most important structural and functional elements of the socio-economic system in the region. On the basis of indicators of potential demography "lost years of potential life" calculated the scale of lost profits in the production of GRP as a result of premature mortality - one of the reasons for lack of interaction between health services and health authorities with other branches and departments in addressing the preservation of public health as an important factor of regional development.
