«Green economy» as the main trend of modern development of an efficient economy

The article is devoted to the problems of sustainable development of the modern economy. It is noted that sustainable development involves the protection of people from poverty, hunger, disease, violence and repression in the context of rational environmental management. "Green" economy and, in particular, "green" technologies, the purpose of which is to preserve natural resources and reduce the negative impact of man on the world, are the main direction of the modern development of society, contributing to the sustainable development of modern civilization and the preservation of life on the planet. According to the authors, Russia, despite the good results on the way to the implementation of the Concept of Sustainable Development, needs a long time to solve serious problems of a social, economic and environmental nature, large funds, and compliance with certain restrictions.
