Green economy: issues of environmentally oriented behavior of the population

It is known that economic development is inextricably linked with the continuous growth of production and consumption. One of the negative consequences of this situation (along with positive changes) is the deterioration of the environment. In order to preserve natural resources with economic growth, the concept of a green economy was developed, which assumes a responsible attitude of modern man to natural resources. Today, the mental unpreparedness of various social groups and communities to participate in the organization of separate waste collection has become one of the obstacles to the dissemination of technologies in the field of environmental protection and rational nature management. It is the social perception of separate waste collection in Russia that can be called the main problem in the implementation of environmental measures. Moreover, these are problems not only of our country, a similar situation with public consciousness is developing in most of the modern states. The models of organizing the separate collection of household waste could be effectively applied in different countries only when the society itself supported them and became involved in active environmental protection. The search for options to stimulate separate waste collection, including economic methods, social advertising, which would change the environmental consciousness of the Russian population, form a positive social perception of separate waste collection, is relevant. Methods of economic stimulation and support of the business climate in the field of municipal solid waste (MSW) are one of the activities of authorities at various levels. In this regard, issues of social responsibility of organizations (enterprises) in the field of environmental protection and environmentally oriented development of personnel become important.
