Green spaces and their role in a modern city

The article briefly highlights the main aspects of the role of green spaces in a modern city. A detailed description of the main pollutants of the urban environment is given, which negatively affects (on the sanitary and hygienic, decorative and planning) functions of green spaces. An important component is that the state of the components of nature is an important indicator of the state and quality of the urban environment. Thus, environmental problems of cities are associated with excessive concentration of population, transport, and industrial enterprises in relatively small areas. Conclusions are drawn about the role and importance of green spaces for the urbanized urban environment.
