On the basis of archival materials, the article examines the land estates and incomes of the Svyatogorsk Holy Dormition Monastery of the Pskov Diocese on the eve of the secularization of 1764, as well as the composition of its brethren and ministers. Property valuation is carried out on the basis of a study of the officers’ inventories of the monastery property stored in the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts, and materials contained in the “Bulletin of the Patrimonial Possessions of the Svyatogorsk Monastery of the Pskov Diocese in 1744”, located in the State Archives of the Pskov Region. It is shown that the lands belonging to the Svyatogorsk Monastery before 1764 were only partially cultivated. The monastery did not strive to increase the efficiency of its management, however, the level of income received from the estates allowed the monastery to support and develop itself. As a result of secularization, the monastery lost most of its estates, which were transferred to the state, and then to other owners.
