This article considers the legal regulation of land surveying process, organisation of land surveying results into a data base. A concise comparative analysis of content of land surveying and town-planning documentation in land-use planning is given. Interrelation is shown between the land surveying process and the data to be entered into the State Immovable Property Cadastre by way of information communication.
