The article deals with the aspects of perception of the land as a space for everyday life by aboriginals of Yakutia. The author describes traditional regard for the nature, lands for farming and hunting. By the case study of the Yukagir ethnic group the author reveals the topical conflicts in the spatial organization of the aboriginal life under the changing socioeconomic conditions.
