Amphibians of the Usa river basin: ecological and faunistic characteristics, status and problems of protection

Data are provided on the type composition, occurrence rates and state of protection of amphibians in the river basin Usa. The habitat of 10 species has been established: the crested newt Triturus cristatus , the common newt Lissotriton vulgaris , the red-bellied toad Bombina bombina , Pallas' spadefoot Pelobates vespertinus , common toad Bufo bufo , green toad Bufotes viridis , pond frog Pelophylax lessonae , lake frog Pelophylax ridibundus , grass frog Rana temporaria , sharp-faced frog Rana arvalis .
