Zeugma in publicistic style

The article deals with the stylistic role of zeugma, especially its usage in publicistic style (journalese or mass communication). The style takes the lead in stylistic structure of Russian literary language. There are revealed the most significant types of zeugma (punning zeugma, graphical zeugma, ligature).
