Genre as a tool for reading the lyrical text (“Florence wet” by V. Aristov)

The article argues that modern lyrical texts bearing genre-related titles, should be read through the prism of the genre structure. The problem of genre is discussed in this respect not from the viewpoint of clusters’ or the invariant approach; Yu. Tynyanov’s idea of the genre shift is taken into account, and an attempt is made to trace back the main patterns of this shift in the 20th century.
