The methods of penetrating gamma radiation and thermal analysis are used for determining the beginning of eutectoid transformation temperature, and also a method of thermographic analysis to detect the fact of the process, the temperature range in which it occurs and endo- and exothermic characters. The effect of the graphitizer (Al, Cu, Ni, Sn) to improve the heat resistance of chrome white iron is established.
