The iron tips of arrows from the V.A. Lapko Museum in the Novonikolayevka village in Kyrgyzstan

In the article the iron tips of arrows from collection of historical and V.A. Lapko regional ethnographical popular museum in the Novonikolayevka village in the Chuy Region of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan are examined. All the arrows were discovered at different times in the Novonikolayevka village and it outskirts. Tips from the composition of studied collection are classified of several groups and types. We were able to ground the chronology and determine the functional purpose of different types of arrows from the composition of studied collection as a consequence of studying of similar tips from the medieval nomads monuments in the contiguous territories of Central Asian region. All the arrows from this collection are related to the era of the High Middle Ages. The amour-piecing tips and arrows among them are singled out, that are meant for shooting against the enemies, unprotected with the metallic armour.
