The iron tip of arrow of the rare form from Southern Kyrgyzstan

In the article the finding, rare for Kyrgyzstan, of flat iron tip of arrow with the iron small balls with two apertures is researched. This tip was found out in Batken Region in the South of the Kyrgyz Republic. The iron tips of analogous construction, with the iron small balls, were found out in the burial mounds of the Yenisei Kyrgyz in Southern Siberia in the previous decades. They are dated by periods of the High and Late Middle Ages. The finding of tip of arrow with the iron small ball can testify that the ancestors of the modern Kyrgyz people brought with them the similar arrows, when they migrated to Tian Shan from the valley of middle Yenisei River. Judging by that finding the Kyrgyz people, appeared in the territory of southern part of modern Kyrgyzstan, continued to utilize some of traditional sorts of weapon in the 1st half of the 2nd millennium AD.
