The empirical findings on the involvement of women from the privileged classes into the scientific work at the beginning of the XIXth through the beginning of the XXth centuries are rather rare in Russian historiography. To fill this gap, the author of this article collects the bibliographies of the first Russian women-historians. The author is seeking for typical nature of life and scientific paths of such women, the interconnections between social and political changes in industrialized country (rise of «women's issue» in social discourse) and new trends in the development of Russian historical science (appearance of women-scientists). Despite the idea on the radical differences between the development of Russian (bourgeois before the Revolution of 1917) and Soviet science, that was underlined in Soviet historiography, the purpose of this article is to show the increasing number of women-scientists in our historical sciences in the second part of the XIXth and early XXth cc. This article being in a series of other author's articles from the beginning of 2000 is a part of a long-term investigation of Russian academic community on gender aspects.
