Dwelling in the ritual life of the Russian population in the Republic of Mordovia

An attempt to determine the connection between the dwelling of the Russians residing in Mordovia and a ritual culture of the ethnos is made in the article. On the basis of the field data the analysis of the preservation degree of the rites of the Russian population of Mordovia connected with the dwelling and household outbuildings is presented.
