Municipal housing construction in the Lower Volga region (second half of 1920's - early 1930's)

The article, based on archival documents and statistical data, covers activities of central and local authorities and trade unions concerning housing problems in the Lower Volga region in the second half of the 1920s - early 1930s. The work on reconstruction and development of housing facilities, deteriorated or destroyed during the Civil War as well as difficulties with providing housing for working population are shown.
