Living conditions of the Russian officer corps in Manchuria during the Russo-Japanese war 1904-1905

The article considers the living conditions of the Russian officer corps in Manchuria during the Russo-Japanese war. The research analyzes the main types of accommodation that could be used by the troops at the front. The characteristic of the traditional Chinese type of housing, fanza, has been presented. The living conditions of the rear officers as well as the generalship have been described.
