The course of life and evolution of the ideas of Yuri N. Govorukha-Otrok

The article considers the biography, evolution of ideas and views in public policy and politics of the great Russian literary critic and editorialist Yuri N. Govorukha-Otrok (1850-1896). His views changed from a passion for revolutionary nihilism to those of a convinced Orthodox monarchist, and the latter views were clearly expressed in his editorials and literary criticism.
