"Priestesses of love" in the cities of the Yenisei province in the end of XIX – early XX centuries

On the basis of a wide range of sources the article deals with the development of prostitution in the cities of the Ye-nisei province in the end of XIX – early XX century. It is shown that in this period, prostitution becomes an usual element of the social system.
