Abuse of office: problems of delineation from related crimes

The article is devoted to abuse of official authority. In it the author gives the criminal-legal characteristic of the considered act. The concepts of official authority and official position are revealed. Taking into account the analysis of the structure of Art. 285 of the criminal code, a new version of part 2 of this article and the inclusion of part 4, providing for criminal liability for violation of an international Treaty and generally recognized principles of international law, causing significant harm to the legitimate interests of the Russian Federation and its reputation in the international arena.
