Value of the newspaper «The St.-Petersburg sheets» in an information work-educational of XVIII century in Russia

The newspaper «the St.-Petersburg sheets» has started to be published since 1728. From first number the newspaper began to print announcements. The subjects of announcements opens features of an information work-educational in Russia. The basic work on creation of announcements was carried out by editors of the newspaper. In the activity they were guided by decrees. Publications in the newspaper began to be used actively by official bodies for the information and education.
