The value and historical aspects of the scientific and industrial development of the Volga-Caspian region border states

This work is devoted to the review of the historical stages of the formation of industrial development and scientific study of the Volga-Caspian region by the border States. The article describes the formation and development of industrial and scientific institutions, highlights the fundamental branches of financial and economic activity for the border countries. An idea of the importance of the development of the region. The activity of scientific institutes, both domestic and foreign, is considered. On the basis of the conducted research, the stages of the formation of the scientific knowledge base are described, which in turn were aimed at the formation of ideas about the dynamics of marine processes occurring in the region. This knowledge and research make it possible to assess the risks and threats associated with the industrial development of the region and minimize losses in the conduct of financial and economic activities of the subjects of the region. Based on long-term research data of these institutions and services, obtained by long-term observation of the behavior of these systems and supplemented by data obtained by orbital groups of satellites of remote sensing of the Earth, as well as data of satellite observations, it is possible to form time series of various scientific data, which in turn allow to build models, analyze dependencies and identify the impact of some systems on others and Vice versa.
