Introduction: the article deals with the use of tactics by the investigator in the process of the investigation of the crime. Criminalistics, as a special type of law enforcement activity, arose within the framework of criminal procedural activity, as an active means of implementing its provisions in the investigation of crimes, establishing all its circumstances, exposing the person who committed it. It is the criminal procedure law that sets the limits and conditions for the use of forensic recommendations in the activities of the investigator in the process of the investigation of crimes, recommending the use of the necessary technical means and tactics in order to achieve the tasks listed in article 6 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Professional communication of the investigator, as a specific type of communication, has its focus not only the solution of the tasks defined by article 6 of the code of criminal procedure - protection of the rights and legitimate interests of those who were harmed by the crime, as well as protection of a person from illegal and unjustified charges, convictions, restrictions of rights and freedoms...
